Swiss Ephemeris Natal Chart + Pythagorean Life Path Number: One Free Tool
Sagelon calculates your natal birth chart using the Swiss Ephemeris astronomical library and your Life Path number using Pythagorean reduction, from one set of birth details, in one free session. No sign-up required. Most sites make you visit Astro-Seek or Astrodienst for the chart, then a separate numerology site for Life Path. Sagelon does both.
What is Swiss Ephemeris?
Swiss Ephemeris is an astronomical calculation library developed by Astrodienst AG (the company behind astro.com). It is the standard used by most serious astrology software for computing planetary positions.
The library provides accuracy to fractions of arc-seconds for planetary positions spanning the past 10,000 years. It covers the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, lunar nodes, and additional celestial bodies.
Sagelon uses Swiss Ephemeris for all natal chart calculations: Sun, Moon, Rising sign, and all planetary positions through the houses.
What is a Life Path Number?
The Life Path number is the most significant number in Pythagorean numerology. It is calculated by reducing your full birth date (month, day, and year) to a single digit through repeated addition. Master numbers 11, 22, and 33 are preserved and not reduced further.
Your Life Path number represents your core life purpose and the broad arc of your personality. You can calculate yours with the free Life Path calculator.
Why combine them?
Most astrology sites stop at the natal chart. Most numerology sites stop at the numbers. The two systems are calculated from the same birth data but use completely different mathematics, so they function as independent lenses on the same person.
When you look at both together, patterns emerge. Someone with a Leo Sun (leadership, self-expression) and Life Path 1 (independence, pioneering) has convergence around leadership themes. That agreement across independent systems is a stronger signal than either system alone.
Sagelon runs this comparison automatically. It also adds BaZi (Chinese Four Pillars) and tarot birth cards for a total of four independent systems analyzed from one set of birth details.
